Professor Péter Hegyi MAE, the Director of the Academia Europaea Budapest Knowledge Hub, is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity under the FROM CURIOSITY TO CAREER PROGRAM. One of its primary missions is to inspire, motivate, and support the career development of young researchers by providing them with opportunities to interact with world-class scientists and learn from their experiences.



We recognize that young researchers in Europe often lack the opportunity to meet and engage with distinguished, accomplished scientists who have made significant contributions to their fields. To address this, the Academia Europaea Budapest Knowledge Hub, in collaboration with the National Academy of Scientist Education (NASE), is offering a unique, non-profit opportunity for young European researchers to participate in an exclusive event – the Meeting of Nobel Laureates and Talented Students.

This event, held from 6-9 December 2024 in Szeged, Hungary, will bring together highly distinguished scientists and early-career scientists for key-note lectures, round-table discussions, hands-on laboratory practices, and cultural programs. Due to the limited number of available spots (20-30 participants), we are only able to accept applicants who are recommended by an MAE member. If you have multiple candidates, please rank them accordingly.
